Katie is the Director of Recruiting - Contract Administrative & HR at The Hollister Group, Inc. and has been with the organization since 2008. She joined Hollister as a Recruiter in 2010, but started with the team initially as a temporary administrative employee where she held a variety of temporary jobs throughout Boston. Katie’s experience as a Hollister temporary employee provided her with first-hand knowledge of what it's like to be a candidate. She leverages her personal experience to relate to and to connect with talent.
Outside of work Katie enjoys international (and local) travel, yoga, hiking, camping and anything outdoors. When she is not traveling, she can often be found at concerts or bopping around her favorite local restaurants in the Cambridge area.
Katie’s advice to talent is to always send thank you notes via email after an interview. Make sure to send different notes to everyone you meet during the interview process, ideally within 24 hours of your interview. Whether it’s a phone interview, first round interview, final round, or informational interview, a thank you note can go a long way and assures the hiring manager you’re interested in the job! Don’t forget to triple check for grammar/spelling errors before sending it off!
