At the beginning of the pandemic, Hollister's Philanthropy Committee organized a letter-writing project to residents of Compass on the Bay, a retirement and assisted living facility in Boston. Normally, we organize a quarterly off-site volunteer day as part of our commitment to giving back to the community. Of course, this has not been possible during the pandemic.
Since it is still not safe to get together and volunteer, we decided to get back in touch with our friends at Compass on the Bay by sending them Valentine's Day cards. In total, we sent two letters each to 47 residents, and we hope we brought a smile to their faces!
