38 Years in the Making: The Hollister Group Announces New Chapter in Leadership
Phoebe Goldsberry named CEO, Kip Hollister steps into focusing fully on her role as Owner & Founder, and Ally McCabe continues as President of the WBENC-certified, woman-owned staffing consultancy
BOSTON, Mass., September 23rd, 2026
Business works better when it's built on real relationships, rather than transactions. That's the conviction The Hollister Group, a woman-owned staffing consultancy, was built on 38 years ago, and this year, it's moving into its next chapter. Effective August 2026, Phoebe Goldsberry was named Chief Executive Officer of The Hollister Group, alongside Ally McCabe, who continues to serve as President in her 23rd year with the company. Kip Hollister, who built this company from the ground up, is not stepping away. She's stepping more intentionally into her role as Owner & Founder, dedicating her time to partnering with leaders and organizations through executive coaching, leadership development, executive team facilitation, and keynote speaking.
Together, they have positioned The Hollister Group as a firm that clients and talent turn to as trusted growth advisors: adaptive, responsive, and willing to challenge the status quo in service of better outcomes.
"We've never been a company built around org charts. We're built around values, and around people who show up, authentically, for each other and for the people we serve," said Phoebe Goldsberry, CEO of The Hollister Group.
Guided by four core values – open communication, passion, integrity, and community – The Hollister Group has spent nearly four decades building relationships that outlast a single engagement. That is the foundation of every partnership they enter, whether through Staffing or Cultures.
Hollister's Staffing team partners with companies on a contingent basis to recruit, select, and hire right-fit talent across Technology, Accounting & Finance, and Administrative & HR needs, whether through contract, contract-to-hire, or direct hire placements. Staffing clients receive dedicated post-hire support designed to accelerate new-hire performance and protect their investment well beyond the hire itself.
Hollister's Project Delivery capability offers additional flexibility for organizations that need technical work done without building an in-house team, delivering high-quality software development and project execution through a hybrid onshore and offshore model.
For leaders committed to turning culture into a driver of business performance, Hollister's Cultures team ignites sustainable growth through communication, accountability, and results, helping organizations execute faster, retain top talent, and deliver consistently on business goals through the REAL™ Results Growth Partnership. The results are measurable: faster execution of strategic initiatives, lower turnover and replacement costs, and more consistent delivery on business goals.
This is not a reinvention. It is the same company, the same values, and the same people clients already know, simply stepping more fully into who they already are.
"Stepping into this role is the honor of a lifetime," Goldsberry added. "Everything we're building today stands on the foundation Kip has built, and I'm not replacing that, I'm carrying it forward. It's a privilege to be part of such a robust Boston business community."
