Executive Growth Series: Creating Cultures of Accountability and Results
Accountability is often misunderstood as pressure, blame, or holding people’s feet to the fire. In reality, strong cultures of accountability are built through connection, trust, clarity, and a shared commitment to results. In this interactive one-hour training, participants explore the difference between cultures of connection and separation and how each impacts communication, engagement, ownership, and performance. We examine the behaviors that lead to disconnection, defensiveness, and silos, as well as the practices that build trust, personal responsibility, and collective accountability. Participants will learn that accountability is not limited to managers or senior leaders, everyone plays a role in shaping culture and creating results. When people feel connected and accountable to one another, they are more willing to communicate honestly, address challenges, follow through on commitments, and work toward shared goals.
