Mike joined The Hollister Group in 2013 and began leading the Administrative & HR team in 2017. In 2022, Mike transitioned into managing HR Operations and Talent Acquisition for The Hollister Group. He previously owned and operated a retail business with his family and worked in College Admissions prior to joining Hollister. Mike believes every interaction is an opportunity to build a new relationship, and prides himself on being empathetic and direct in his support of the staff at The Hollister Group. Mike loves working at Hollister because he has always been encouraged to be himself and to approach work with a sense of humor.
Outside of work, Mike loves to travel – his favorite trip was to Switzerland. He loves seeing live music and, in the last couple of years, he taught himself how to play guitar. He also loves sharing pictures of his two dogs (Bodie & Bonnie) with his team weekly!
Mike’s advice to talent is to research a company before you apply and to leverage that research in your interviews to indicate that you came prepared. He encourages authentic conversations during interviews. Mike also advises job seekers to advocate for yourself and to be confident but also reasonable when negotiating an offer.
