Caroline joined The Hollister Group in 2016 after coming in as a candidate twice. While she was initially unsure if she saw herself continuing in the agency world, after great relationships were established with both her recruiter (now colleague) and current manager, she felt confident Hollister was the right place for her. Prior to her recruiting career, Caroline spent four years working as an ABA Therapist at The New England Center for Children – a residential school for children and young adults with severe Autism Spectrum Disorder. She also had the opportunity to work at another staffing firm before joining The Hollister Group.
Caroline loves working at Hollister not only because of the firm’s reputation and commitment to serving the community, but also because of how Hollister fosters a supportive, collaborative, and innovative environment for all employees. All employees are encouraged to bring their full selves to work, and the Hollister culture encourages each person to feel comfortable being authentic.
Outside of work, Caroline spends time playing with her Labrador, Maddie, and enjoys taking extended weekend trips all over New England. She also loves food – whether it’s trying new recipes at home or exploring restaurants and breweries with her friends.
Caroline’s advice to clients, is to be open-minded and flexible. Everyone has a story, and sometimes professionals with unique or non-traditional backgrounds can bring new ideas, perspective, and value to your organization. Her advice to talent is to be authentic and confident in any interview. There is a reason that company or hiring manager chose to invite you to interview, so channel confidence in that dialogue and articulate what makes your background and experience distinctive and valuable to their organization.
